Hope’s journey has been defined by understanding true strength. She acknowledges that the human expressions of strength, power, and authority can sometimes feel overwhelming, leading to feelings of inadequacy. Through intense soul-searching and a personal journey of deliverance, she developed a deep respect and love for God, who became her strength in her moments of weakness.
After years of wrestling with her calling, Hope committed herself to serving those in the community who are suffering, finding profound joy in seeing individuals thrive through the knowledge of God and a clear understanding of their identity in Christ.
Educational Foundation and Ministry Calling
Hope built a strong foundation for her service, graduating with a Bachelor of Technical Management in Information Systems from DeVry University. Driven by her passion for care and teaching, she earned her Master of Divinity with a concentration in Pastoral Care and Chaplaincy from the United Theological Seminary in Ohio. Following graduation, she was ordained as a minister to preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Her work within correctional facilities prompted her to seek training in clinical pastoral education from the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy. Today, she is a certified coach and mentor, expertly assisting individuals and teams in creating strategies for development, inner healing, and deliverance.
Deep Community Commitment
For the last 14 years, Hope has been a powerful force in her community, shining a light on social justice issues. Her extensive experience includes working with incarcerated men and women, supporting returning citizens, aiding drug rehabilitation centers and shelters, and strengthening families through counseling and coaching. Hope has consistently ministered to the lost and coached many to success.
Her dedication is evidenced by her service on numerous boards, including roles as the Executive Director of the Montgomery County Jail Volunteer Chaplain Prison Ministry. She has also contributed significantly to organizations like Holy Spirit Renewal Ministry, Homicide Prayer Vigil, Kairos, Chrysalis, Angel Tree, and The Salvation Army, among many others.
